This little bar and grill style restaurant is just a couple blocks from where me and my family live, so we decided to give it a try last night!
This place is set up like your normal bar and grill. Bar in the middle, with restaurant seating on the sides.
The service was nice, but a little slow, even though it didn't look like they were short on people.
The menu has a large arrangement of items, from burgers to sandwiches to salads.
I ended up ordering the "Epic Burger", a burger with cheddar, blue cheese dressing, Canadian bacon and regular bacon. The burger was really rich and hard to finish, most likely due to the richness of the blue cheese. And it was served on toast instead of buns. This was pretty weird to me, but it added a nice crunch. Even though the burger was hard to finish, the flavor was good, and the patty itself was very yummy.
The fries though, I'm almost sure those came from a bag.
So overall, I think NaKato is a cute little bar that could be a hit or miss. I would really like to go back in the future and try something different.
