Ty Breiz Crêperie serves delicious savoury crepes. I had the lunch special with a choice of a savoury and sweet with a drink. Had the sausage with egg and cheese on buckwheat and Nutella. Came to the table hot which I like and enjoyed tremendously. Staff were friendly and helpful and spoke English. They have an English menu. Very reasonable price for lunch (about €19) and it was packed with locals also enjoy their lunch. A 5 minutes walk from the Montparnasse train station which offers better food than inside the train station. Suggest Pasteur metro then Montparnasse-Bienvenüe. The extra few minutes walk would save you from the maze of the train station metro.

Prefer the crepes over by Montparnasse like Creperie Josselin to the Ty Breiz crepes - a few red flags being that there were a bunch of international flags on the menu here.
Savory crepe was a bit burnt / overcooked, and the sweet crepe had some overly sweet strange vanilla ice cream that I wasn't a fan of.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ada L.Patrick Air Force Base, Estados Unidos154382579/12/2019
Not a fan of their crepes, mostly because I'm not a fan of buckwheat, which has a strong smoky taste that may taste bitter/burnt to some. However, staff was super friendly and pleasant. They do have an English menu available, even if it isn't advertised outside.
I came in on a Friday night for a takeaway, and we were told to sit down and take our time figuring out what we wanted. Someone even came by with some recommendations as we struggled to make a choice. Once the decision was made, crepes were done as quickly as you'd expect, and packaged well, so don't be afraid to order take-out, it comes in a special crepe takeaway box, and there's a discount for not eating in.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Astou T.Sunnyvale, Estados Unidos318419221/01/2019
This place is nice! I was a little disappointed in my galette au poulet because I wasn't expecting the ingredients to be outside of the galette. I wanted them to be in it just like the others on the pictures. It wasn't bad but it was more salad than anything. My friends liked theirs better! For dessert I went for a nutella crepe, you just can't go wrong with that!

This is my fifth trying to go to Ty Breiz, and I was finally able to get a seat. In fact, they're very nice people; they ushered us inside, but when we wanted to sit outside, they were very kind about it. When it looked like it was about to rain (I didn't even know), the waitress hurriedly came out to tell us that we might want to move. Two seconds after she said this, it started pouring. Luckily, she had cleared a table of four inside so that we'd have somewhere to sit. Whew!
Unfortunately, the menu was not that dazzling for me. I think that I came here with really high expectations; someone I trust a lot told me that Ty Breiz was both better and cheaper than Creperie Josselin. Perhaps it's better, but it was definitely more expensive. There are a lot more options available (andouilletes, boudin, emmental, etc) there would not be seen on a Creperie Josselin menu. Even though I was disappointed by the relatively (ranging from 9-11€ mostly) high pricing, I decided not to skimp so I could see if it really was better. I got the Crêpe Savoyarde (11.10€), and I waited anxiously.
Perhaps it's just the style of it, but I don't like my crêpe open-faced because the ingredients get cold faster. It was definitely very pretty and good to take pictures of, but I would've rather had good taste than good presentation. It tasted fine, but it was not very special. It could also have been the fact that I thought "pommes" meant apples instead of potatoes. (It didn't specific pomme de terre; I thought they were being creative with the apples because I HAVE seen apples on savory crêpes before). Oh well.
My friends liked it, and I would have to say that it's definitely filling and pretty good. However, I do prefer Crêpere Josselin. Onto other crêpe adventures :)Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - susan t.Chicago, Estados Unidos0513/04/2017
The crepes are amazing!! I ate the full traditional with chicken and a sunny side up eggs and I absolutely hate sunny side eggs!! They somehow managed to mask the over powering taste of raw egg with all the flavors in the chicken and buckwheat crepe. It was awesome.

This is an amazing crepery. Their breakfast crepes are really good, and has egg and different meat options. Their desert crepes are to die for. I had one with ice cream, apples, and caramel, and it was the best thing I've ever tasted. The service is good, ad has a nice happy vibe. Definitely come here!!!!!

Great crepes and the service was nice. I got a crepe burger and went back a second day and got the traditional which came with ham, egg, and cheese. We also tried mushroom and egg crepe and a goat cheese crepe. The dessert crepes were also good. And when you leave they give you homemade caramel to go.
