When it comes to The Warrington Hotel, the only thing I'm disappointed about is that I hadn't discovered it sooner. As a frequent London traveler, I only wish I'd known of this wonderful place before my last trip. It is now my favorite place to stay on the West End and I will definitely be staying here again.

I initially booked a room here on a last-minute trip to London and I am so very glad I did. I feel as if fate brought me to its doorstep. The building itself is chock full of a colorful past and history and situated in the most charming neighborhood. The rooms are wonderfully decorated and clean and surprisingly spacious. The pub is cozy and offers a genuine London pub atmosphere. Food and drinks were both terrific. The company was even better. I felt a part of a neighborhood I so wish I lived in.

The cherry on top? The staff. I can't thank managers Nathan and Keir enough for their warm hospitality and candor. They went above and beyond to accommodate me and even offered help due to some last-minute rearrangements on my trip. They are so knowledgeable and truly care about their guests. You can tell The Warrington is a point of pride for them which is so refreshing in this time.

The Warrington Hotel (& pub!) is a wonderful London locale best experienced. Go for the history & the ambiance. Stay for the friends that become family.

Thank you again for everything, Nathan & Keir.

So we're on vacation now and I want the REAL English/British experience. My friend insisted we have a traditional Sunday Roast. My friend says that Sunday roast, obviously only on Sunday's, but it's usually a very LARGE Sunday brunch typically with potatoes and Yorkshire pudding and some type of meat and gravy. It's like dinner for breakfast.

We first initially tried to eat elsewhere but it shut down! Well, not too far away was this location, The Warrington.
(It is also a Hotel mind you. So I'll only be speaking on the bar/restaurant.)

Located in a very nice neighborhood. REALLY nice. Within walking 20 feet down the street, I crossed 3 Porsches and 1 Range Rover. The houses are 3-4 stories high with freshly manicured topiaries.

Anyways, as soon as you walk in you're welcomed to a large, ornate lounging and dining area with dark wood furniture. Very beautiful and antique feeling as if not much had been changed over the past century, everything just looks so intricate.

Back to, Sunday roast! You choose either chicken, pork, or beef. I ordered beef.

Let me tell you, this was the best breakfast ever.

Two generous slices of roast beef atop a bed of a variety of roasted potatoes, sautéed kale and Yorkshire pudding all slathered with a warm brown gravy. Honestly, I could have had more and could eat this every Sunday if at all possible.

My other friend ordered a Niçoise salad which I just learned is a traditional French dish that has Tuna, hard-boiled egg and olives. I didn't try it but the presentation was just as beautiful and she said just as delicious.

Good and friendly neighbourhood pub with an impressive interior and tables outside.
Legend has it that it used to be a Brothel (which is where the current guest rooms come from) until it got bought by Gordon Ramsay. Ramsay doesn't own it anymore, but the food is still decent (what you'd expect from a normal pub) and the drinks are cheaper than at the close-by Elgin!

Nice atmosphere, great bar, challenged food service. Ordered off the menu at 8:20 on a Saturday night, waited 40 minutes to be told one of our two orders was off the menu. Over an hour later and still no food on our table. Also hot as hades in the dining room.

On the bright side, once I got the attention of the wait staff, our food was out and we'd had a free round besides. The food, at last, was tasty. Kudos to John, working the bar, for coming through in the clutch at the last moment.

I went for Sunday roast today, made reservation for 2 in advance. The signs outside welcome everyone in, seems very inclusive. Unfortunately when you walk in, it's packed to the brim with people, and not a soul who works there will say hello or make eye contact. I tried to find a place to sit, nowhere to sit. Tried to flag someone down who works there, but they're obviously overwhelmed by 12pm and don't care about service. Left without getting a chance to try anything. Thanks but no thanks, such a waste of time and space with dirty furniture.

The most gorgeous pub I've ever been in. A cozy fireplace with a big leather couch, comfy chairs and bookcases.

The service was a little off, but I was too busy thinking about snogging Russell Brand on that leather couch in front of the fireplace to mind.

Just come back from this pub, so forgive any fuzzy errors. My local, and definitely one of my favourites.

Fortunately when Gordon Ramsey took over and gastro-pubbed this place he didn't change much. The gorgeous art nouveau style panelling is still there. I think there was maybe a dart board before, and he did kick out Ben's Thai from upstairs though ('dang!' a Maida Vale institution), but fortunately they have found a new home in the Sam Smith pub down the road. I also think the pub looks quintessentially English as has two big red telephone boxes outside. I'm sure they are there just for show (I bet you Ramsey rents them), as I have never seen anyone use them ever.

Good beer and wine menu. I haven't tried the food here yet, I have to admit from all reports I don't hold high hopes, especially after the frozen ready meal controversy (see Wikipedia). However they appear to have a reasonable price set menu for autumn so I will come back, and let you know how it works out.

Located in Little Venice, this is a spectacular traditional Victorian pub. The interior is truly amazing, featuring spectacular stained glass windows, mirrors, ornate pillars and comfy seats and sofas. The bar itself is of dark wood design. Not surprisingly, it is always very busy and I have never managed to secure a seat! Luckily there is seating available outside!
Great emphasis is placed on gourmet food, as The Warrington is a Gordon Ramsay establishment!
This is a truly outstanding pub full of character and a must see!

First impressions good when you arrive but the Service is very slow and unprofessional.
it's not a British run pub no service with a smile or friendly banter. The staff are rude and unfriendly, worst pub I have ever been to.
