The Romanisches Café is located at the Waldorf Astoria in Berlin. Which face to Zoo Palast and close to Bikini Berlin. The interial design of the this Café was quite nice, simple and elegant. It made people feel quite relaxing.
I walked in to the Café from the entrace which is facing the alley not the main street. I got to check out thier offers of the cake. They all looks quite nice, the one get my attention really quick was the Black Forest. Usually the one I had looke really dark brown, which just quite related to the name. Be the one I saw here was kinda light brown and white. so I got myself on plate just to try it out. The Black Forest was sweeter than most of the ones I've tried before. The white part just cream. It tasted quite nice, But I do prefer the regular one.
Tthe coffee here is quite also nice, and it's common price just like every Café house. The location of this place is actually the thing I enjoyed the most. not so noisy, cool place to chat with friends. Besides, you can just pick a free apple as snack at the entrance, accoding a friend of my friend. The service was alright. This is one of the cool Café places in this area. Personally, I do prefer to go some other Café to chill with.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 2448303726/01/2015
This is the cafe that's in the Waldorf Astoria. When we arrived, they were shifting out of brunch to regular service, and the manager kindly said he would get us from the lobby when they finished the transition. We had coffee and cake, which were above average, especially the passionfruit chocolate dessert. Service was good except for the sight frustration when we tried to tip on the bill after they ran our cards--seemed they were happier not taking our tip than to re run our cards. Interesting.
