Le Crobag

The name sounds a bit strange in English and I think it must be a chain place. I am sure there is probably loads around Germany (only a guess though) but they do a good job of what they do in my opinion.

We stopped in for a quick breakfast and they had a massive array of rolls, baguettes, toasties, etc, on offer to choose from. I had a lovely cheese baguette and an apple juice on the side. There was plenty of tables, the place was bright & clean and the staff were friendly. They also spoke good English which helps people like me who know about three words of German.

All in a decent place for a light breakfast, I'm sure if you went back for lunch or just a coffee it would be a similar experience.

I stopped here on a coffee break from my walking tour and was pleasantly surprised by the cheap and potent coffee (and restrooms, free restrooms). The bread stick snack things lookes good and they were 3-5 euros each, not bad. They also had juices, smoothies, pasta salads to-go, sodas. Like a Starbucks but brighter haha

Def a good place to pick up a snack and a drink on the go, near so many of Hamburgs main attractions.
