La Popote du 18

A very nice french restaurant, with a good service, good atmosphere, good prices (15euros per person). For me it is typical from the 18eme, simple and funny furnishing and delicious simple food too. AND the mashed potatoes are amazing (among every meal)


Too bad there is no possibility to sit outside to enjoy the sun or a cigarette

I love this bar. I was living down the block from this place for a while, and ended up going there at least once a day, if not for coffee or lunch, then for an after-work beer. The staff, Fred, Axel and Lou are fantastic. This bar is just what the neighborhood ordered; it is a nice break from the sterile cafe de quartiers. The place offers a full menu and full bar, along with great music and is located right in the heart of Montmarte.
