We had an amazing lunch here. There was a line to get in but we had a group of seven and so when they had a bigger table open up, they actually let us in quickly.
The food was absolutely spectacular. We had the Chopped liver and Israeli plate appetizers. The chopped liver was some of the best I've ever had. The Israeli plate is a bunch of falafel with delicious hummus, and some red tapenade. It was absolutely delicious. The only note of caution I would give you is that the Israeli plate is a lot of falafel and if you get the falafel sandwich which is also delicious, it will be a lot of falafel on top of a lot of falafel. So you might want to consider getting the sandwich or falafel platter and not getting the Israeli appetizer. The kids had the kids chicken sausages with fries, which were very good and came with a really delicious cucumber and tomato salad. The falafel sandwiches were stellar, they reminded me of ones I had in Israel, and were absolutely delicious.
This place is worth the wait, and I would come back in a heartbeat!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Scott R. D.Walnut Creek, Estados Unidos513821205/02/2024
Lines. Lines. Lines. Is it worth it? Yes.
This falafel sandwich is big and tasty and only 9€. I got take out as I'm staying very close by. The man taking my order missed my frites, but then didn't charge me. The sandwich is so big I didn't miss them.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - James C.Southeast Portland, Portland, Estados Unidos427374/02/2024
Came here late.
Huge crowd.
Insanity
We would go here again any time any day.
You will not be disappointed
Later we sat on a street curb and ate the most amazing falafels. Summer heat. Will be a lifelong memoryHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 3/12/2023
L'As du Fallafel earns a solid four stars from me. The delicious food, unique fries, and the potential for a fantastic dining experience make it a spot worth trying. Just be sure to plan accordingly and factor in the wait time. If you can navigate that hurdle, you're in for a treat.
Wait Time:
Be prepared to exercise your patience muscles because the wait at L'As du Fallafel is no joke and heads up; Parisian winters can be a bit chilly, so bring your layers. We laughed off the freezing temperatures, but it's worth considering if you're not a fan of cold weather.
Menu Variety:
I decided to go all out and sampled a few things- the falafel, shawarma, and, of course, the fries. The food met my expectations. I was happy to discover that they don't settle for commercially available fries. The extra effort was evident in the taste.
Return Factor:
Despite the lengthy wait, I'm inclined to give L'As du Fallafel another shot on my next visit to Paris. However, I'd have to check the wait time before committing. If it's a manageable wait, I'd gladly return; otherwise, I might explore nearby falafel options.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - 4394564819/11/2023
If you visit only one spot in Le Marais, please let this be it! WOW!
Hands down, best falafel I have ever had. This place really lives up to the hype! We waited in line for a bit to order (it moves quickly and is worth the wait, I promise) and got two wraps. They really loaded them up with sauce and toppings - we were so full for the rest of the day!
Amazing service, fun atmosphere, and most of all, outstanding food. I wish we had L'As du Fallafel here in Boston so I could go all the time!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 16/01/2024Avaliação atualizada
We came back here four years later and unfortunately the food wasn't as delicious as we remembered! Same fast service and this time we dined in (versus taking to go). The meat wasn't as juicy as I remembered and the falafel was also good but not as fantastic we remembered. Not sure if something changed, but it didn't feel the same to us.

There is a man that quickly takes all the orders in line and then the staff efficiently fill your order with fresh fallafel, veggies, and several tasty sauces. We had both the fallafel and the turkey/lamb choice. They were fantastic! Prices are reasonable. Highly recommend.

Fallafels were good but the chicken was not good at all. I felt horrible wasting all that food.
What bothered me the most was that they asked for tip, which shows how touristy the place is.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 16/01/2024Avaliação atualizada
Incredible sandwich, with the eggplant, pita, and hot sauce actually being the best parts rather than the falafel instead. A staple of all of our Paris trips.

Not a lot I can say that hasn't been said before -- the falafel sandwich is amazing (the secretly key ingredient is the eggplant, in my opinion), the lamb schwarma is excellent, and the hummus is outstanding as well. I don't know if it's my absolute favorite falafel anywhere, but it's up there, and it's a staple of our Paris trips.

I first tried L'As du Fallafel back in 2019 on my first trip to Paris. I ordered the falafel sandwich and fries. It was one of the most memorable food things I ate while there. It was so memorable that when I planned my next trip to Europe, I had to make sure to add Paris to my itinerary, just for this falafel. This place did not disappoint. The falafel is so fresh and flavorful, and the bread is so soft and warm. The sauces they add accompanied with the fresh crunchy veggies are so good. Every bite is perfect... I like to add the harissa sauce they have at the table to my sandwich and kick it up a notch. The fries are fresh and crispy! I add the harissa sauce to those, too. They also make a mint lemonade, which is too good to pass up. We had a chance to try the meatball shakshuka, and it was delicious as well.
The service is friendly and they speak English too! This is not fine dining, but the inside of the restaurant is casual and comfortable. You really are doing yourself a disservice if you don't try this place while you are in Paris.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - 30/10/2023
There's two separate lines: one for being seated inside and one for a takeaway. We opted for the takeaway line since it was shorter. The overall feel of the space is super casual.
The service as quick! There was someone who took our order while we stood in line and then when we got to the counter, our orders were ready to go. We did get to choose our toppings .
The food was good! It wasn't the best falafel I've ever had. The flavors were delicious together - the creamy and hot sauce. The falafel was a little dry but still was flavored well. I honestly don't think this place is worth the hype is claims to be.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
