Cottage Floral of Bellaire

I live in DC and ordered balloons for a special friend in Bellaire, MI. The company I ordered from used Cottage Floral as their local vendor, and I'm so lucky for this. Cottage Floral delivered on time, and the order required a substitution, but they went above and beyond to make my order special. This florist is AMAZING, and I will be sure to order directly from them in the future for any deliveries to Bellaire. Thank you so much, Cottage Floral! You made my day (and you also made my friend's day brighter) :)

I would give these guys 10 stars if I could! Cottage Floral handled all the florals for our very large wedding, including decorating both the church and the reception site. They made incredible floral arrangements-- more than ever could have dreamed of! On top of that, they hand delivered our bouquets to where I was getting ready, and dropped the boutonnieres off where the groom and groomsmen were getting ready. Instead of throwing out the leftover flowers, Nat made us some "extras" as well.

Their prices were incredibly reasonable, and were absolutely worth it!

I used Cindy at Cottage Floral for the flowers at my wedding on August 28th, 2010. Because my husband and I live in Atlanta, GA, we had a total of three hours to meet with Cindy in person and let her know our ideas for the wedding. During our meeting, she took great notes and came up with some really amazing ideas (one of my favorites was to use a succulent called Hens and Chicks for the boutonnieres).

We really challenged her to come up with flowers that were "outside of the box" and to use non-traditional materials for the center pieces, the bouquets and the arbor at our ceremony. I could not be happier with the result. My flowers ended up being one of my favorite parts of my wedding.

If you are getting married at Shanty creek or anywhere near Bellaire, I highly recommend using Cindy at Cottage Floral. I will warn you that they are not big on email or websites but you will find that it is worth the little bit of extra work that it takes to pick up the phone or go visit her in person.

I love the personal service I received as a walk in, and have also ordered over the phone. They always deliver a quality product and I love buying local and supporting local businesses versus online services. Stop in sometime!

I've been there 4 times in the year I have lived in this small town. I will not be returning due to unprofessionalism. I left my name and number for the owner about a business matter and the lady that was working started texting me in a personal and unprofessional way.

The new owners are great! They know how to get work done and the place looks beautiful! The flowers also look great! I highly recommend the place to anyone looking for flowers!

My girlfriend was in the area on a girls weekend getaway trip and I wanted to send her some flowers. Her favorite flower is the snapdragon. Unfortunately, the shop did not have any. The lady I spoke to walked me through their flowers one by one via the telephone while asking questions about the recipient to help me to figure out what to buy. She recommended a rose package with truffles and a card, so I made the purchase. She chose the color layout for the 12 roses and hand wrote a letter for me. Afterward, she sent me a picture of the arrangement just so I was able to see what they looked like and I approved.
Not only were the flowers and treats waiting for my girlfriend when she arrived at the lodge, but as a surprise to her, the florist found and put some fake snapdragons into the arrangement. What a treat.
Needless to say, my girlfriend loved the arrangement and I earned brownie points for the florist work.
I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone needing flowers for any occasion. What a blessing to stumble upon this shop.
