This seems like as much of a skater-boy or alternative sporty guys' hangout as it does a shop... bunches of the aforementioned, congregated together, shooting the breeze amongst the merchandise that defines them (skateboards, those baggy and distinctly "alternative" coloured and logoed shirts)... this is something that can make it feel a little intimidating to enter the place if you don't happen to fall into either of the previously mentioned categories (I don't), or especially if you fall into a category that's pretty much the antithesis of those previously mentioned (which, as a female of the non-sporty, very not-alternative variety, I do).
But don't let that stop you from entering; especially if you're in need of one of the many unique items they carry... helmets, Rollerblades, those cool little manually-powered get-around-town scooters, or a unicycle (a unicycle?). The shop help is refreshingly easygoing and they want to assist...
I'll definitely keep this place in mind if I ever have my sporty guy friends from the West Coast in town... I'd say they're bound to meet some kindred spirits here... and will probably find a rare and cool skating accessory while they're at it.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Bea B.Hackney, Reino Unido1419210716/11/2008Primeiro a Avaliar
If you're in need of a new hobby, Cheech Miller is the place to go. A sports shop with a difference, it stocks a good range of gear from rollerblades & skateboards to stunt kites & power kites. The skateshop has a good selection of brands including Baker, City, Black Label and Venture.
I would love to be able to ride a uni-cycle, so if I ever feel the need to trade in my vintage bike for something a little more unique, this would be the place to go.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Utilizador Qype (Fli…)Londres, Reino Unido47832314/01/2010
it's closed! Literally one of those 'one minute it was there' jobs... shop is now to let. Not sure if they are relocating? 21/01/10 *
A rather specialised shop... if it has one, two, three or four wheels you'll probably find it in here. This place is obviously responsible for the marauding gangs of unicyclists you see careering through Victoria Park at the weekends (ok, I once saw a pair of seven year olds wobbling about on one wheel each) and the owner is an expert in frisbee and kite surfing apparently. The old skool rollerskates in the window keep calling to me when I walk past...Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - jj b.Londres, Reino Unido016/03/2009
