Well lit, bright and colorful with seperate areas for under 5's and over 5's with a small area for under 2's with Dragon and Magician themes.
Less expensive and cosier for junior children for both parties and regular 2 hour session. Discounts during term time and remember to ask for membership card to get free tea/coffee/snack after 3, 6 & 9 visits.
Better care taken over party groups with meal & cake half way through rather than at end.
Turn left before traffic lights coming down Graeme's Road from town centre.

I used to go to Cadwinkles with my two children on a regular basis but we had not been for about a year. I would agree with the reviews in 2008, it was a great play area with friendly staff, a good choice of food and big clean play areas for both little ones and bigger children.

I went back today and was shocked how much it had changed for the worse. The toilets were dirty, two of them had broken seats, there was only toilet roll in one toilet (one of the broken ones!), there was no soap and no way of drying your hands. The paint was peeling around the sinks and the locks on some of the doors were broken too.

The play area was still very good - it seemed clean and well maintained and the addition of some play shops was very welcome - my little one loved them.

However, there was very little on the menu that was actually available, especially for vegetarians. I ordered a chicken sandwich without butter. When it arrived, 20 minutes later, it was buttered and when I asked for it to be replaced, I watched as the girl in the kitchen cut open a new roll and proceeded to take all the chicken out of the buttered one and put it in the new roll. The chicken was very buttery and I was unable to eat it. The food is served with no salad garnish or coleslaw unless you specifically request it. At £3.60 for the sandwich, it could have been presented a little better.

Whilst I agree that adults should not be allowed on the playframe, I do think that parents should be allowed to go in to 'rescue' a crying child who wants to come out. I saw a parent being reprimanded for going in to get his child, who was clearly distressed.

As a previous fan of Cadwinkles, I was really disappointed at how much their standards have slipped and will not be going back. Whilst the prices are reasonable at off peak times I would rather pay more and get good value for money.

Another great indoor soft play area. £4.50 for 2 hours of play. they have a pretty decent sized toddler area as well as a large area for aged 4 upwards. they also have a cafe area. They can have birthday parties in here too for £8.50 per head min of (either 8 or 10) not entirely sure. The kids love it here. they also have a mrs claus character around at xmas time (which is not too far away!!!!!)

Cadwinkle is a softplay play centre in Gowan Avenue in Falkirk.
It offers a variety of play areas for diffrent ages of kids.
I liked the fact thet they have a little area for babies and non walkers which contained big rocking ducks and some soft blocks for the tiny ones to play with. This area also had flaps to lift to find surprise pictures behind and a large reflective surface so as they can laugh and play with the 'other' baby.
The under five area houses amongst other things a slide, a ball pit and things to climb on and explore.
For the medium kids ther is a separate area containing climbing, rope bridges, a large bumpy slide and more.
For the bigger kids there is the drop slide, looks like great fun but do not know if I would have the guts to go down it. Cadwinkle's offer a party booking service and it was due to a cousins birthday that we went here. The guests get to play about for a while followed by a choice of food including child favourates such as fish fingers and chicken nugets, then there is the birthday cake and then it is back to play again untill it is time to go.
Adults can also have something to eat ranging from a sandwich or a limited choice of meals with the added bounus that you can watch your little monsters as you eat but because they are having such a good time you accualy get peace to enjoy it.

Cadwindles is a great soft play area. There are 3 main areas for different ages of kids. Adults are only allowed in the under 5's area which can be annoying if your child gets stuck in the main area(over 5's) but there is always friendly staff to help out. Babies who are still not walking get in for free which is really good. It can be a bit expensive at £4.95 per child if you have more than one child but it is worth the money. You can stay for 2 hours and there is a variety of eqiptment for the kids to play on. The cafe offers a large variety of food and drink and the toilets and baby changing areas are clean and well stocked.

I recently went to Cadwinkles with a friend and we took our 3 year olds with us, and my first impressions of the place was not clean, the tables were not being cleared of dirty plates and food packets and when i did find a place to sit that table was dirty ! the toilets weren't up to scratch either, cleanliness was poor and only one cubicle with a toilet roll, again no soap available. When we ordered some food it took 30minutes and the chips were rather hard. I noticed a sign on the wall saying that not other food or drink permitted, only food bought on premises allow, if u are caught they would ask you to leave with no refund. Personally speaking i feel that rule is ok for an adult, but a small kid should be allowed to have their own juice and maybe a snack, my friends little boy is a fussy eater and will only eat certain things, and there menu was not very appetising, 2 fish finger and some chips was all my daughter got on her plate. Staff also dont wear a uniform, and i also noticed that parents were allowed to take pictures of their kids, ok i do think we should be allowed to take pictures of our kids playing, but in this day and age !!! for £3.00 entry for 2 hours is cheap for play, but i would rather pay the extra at £3.75 and got to The Buzz or The big Adventure in Cumbernauld, which was immaculate and great menu at reasonable prices. The Buzz also caters for children with special needs, with multi sensory room, which is great for babies too.
I will never be back to Cadwinkles !!
