Applebee's Grill + Bar

Man, I do not know what happened this evening, but the service is usually much better than it was tonight!

Applebee's was not busy at all, and yet, when we walked in, we stood at the door a good 15 minutes, and the manager saw us, and turned and walked away!

When the host seated us, I asked him if they were closing, and he said not at all. It was 7:30 pm, and mind you, they close at midnight, so I don't know what happened.

Nonetheless, the waiter was very polite and helpful. The food was good, although my daughter's food was brought to her quite a bit after our food. I shared my mashed potatoes with her because she was hungry and the delay was quite noticeable!

We still enjoyed our dinner, but dang, it might be awhile before we return. 3/5

The food was absolutely amazing. The staff was very respectful. The only thing that bothered me was how dirty the girls restroom was. It was disgusting for the area it being in I would expect more from the bathroom being clean. I did approach a lady who worked there and she really seem like she didn't careother than that, everything was fine

The food is very good and the servings are ample. The servers are prompt without hovering. There are good coupons in the Sunday paper and they always have specials. This is a nice, comfortable restaurant.

To be honest, I'm not a fan of Applebee's. It's been years since I've actually enjoyed myself at their happy hour. I think this was back in my early or late 20's. That's been like over a decade now. Lol. They seem to all be the same in terms of food and service. Unfortunately every one that I've been to so far has lousy and mediocre service. It feels like they actually do it on purpose. It's like they get a kick out of it...the manager included. Their food isn't that great, either. I think it's all frozen stuff from a bag that they heat up...stuff I can buy at Walmart or any other grocery store for less dinero.

I recently met up with a friend at this Applebee's location. Trust me when I say I didn't pick this place for dinner. No lie, I questioned our friendship when she wanted to come here. I almost told her, ARE YOU CRAZY? Pick another place! I should've said something but she seemed like her heart was set on it already. I wasn't that hungry so we just shared an appetizer of cheese sticks, chips and salsa and I forget what else. The food wasn't burned or raw so that was a plus. I ordered a moscato and it was terrible. I don't even think it was moscato. It tasted too bitter and dry. The glass of water they brought me wasn't even filled to the top. How hard is it to do that?

My friend had a Bahama Mama and she liked it. She liked it so much, she wanted to order another one but...it never came! When was it going to arrive?? When we left?? We kept asking the waitress to bring her the other drink. She just kept saying sorry. We were going to leave already so my friend said forget it. She was brave enough to order a steak with veggies for an entree. She said it was terrible. My friend isn't that picky so for her to say that? It must've been really bad. I had a brownie and vanilla ice cream and it was actually pretty good. It was probably the best thing there. This is the only reason why I'm giving this location a 2 rather than a 1.Oh and also because the food was edible and not burned or frozen, etc. At one point, I considered ordering some of their wings but decided not to. Hell no, I wouldn't come back...not even for free! This place keeps getting worse at every location as the years go by. Next time someone I know wants to come here I'll warn them against it and recommend a better place...preferably a local business. HARD pass! I know the service industry is having a hard time right now but this has been going on since before Covid here.

This is a first place ever which has a police one drink per person at one time. My husband order beer and tequila. Manager came up and said it's a corporate policy. No reason providing.

Hands down the poorest service I've ever received in a fast food restaurant. Burbon Street was under cooked ,taken away and brought back with warm mashed potatoes. No napkins supplied with the meal period. Manager walked past my bar table 5 tines without uttering a word. I did not see my waitress for close to 35 minutes. Never have I visited an Applebee's and not ordered a Blondie desert ... never say never. Wrote my comments on the ticket, not a call from either of the Managers.

Sooo.. the service was great! But the food was just okay. I will say the Beer Cheese pretzels are freaking yummy (appetizer!). Then I had the bbq pulled pork tacos. They were pretty good, but they got cold fairly quickly.. so I was sad. My friend got the steak with broccoli and Mac n cheese as his side. His broccoli was SO salty though. It really felt like a whole container of salt was just dumped on top :/.

Our server was so so great though! He was super attentive and made sure we were doing okay all night. I really appreciate that!

Let us start with... I drove in from San Diego after 12 hours and some bad news I wanted a margarita and to chill. I am vegetarian although there were not vegetarian options I ordered the broccoli fettuccine.... it was DELICIOUS1 The bartender makes great margaritas... most IMPORTANT WAS THE customer service COURTENEY gave. Very friendly, attentive and a great smile... much needed after my crazy day... I hope you let her know she is very appreciated.

Nothing "fancy like" at this location. Food was nasty. Ordered fiesta lime chicken, tiny portions, dried sauce. Chicken had weird consistency, chewy, like raw but cooked lol. Think chicken had too many hormones. Rice had no salt and was slightly over cooked. My son got chicken tenders, batter had too much flour, leaving a bad aftertaste. Bourbon steak was bland, not well seasoned. Used to love coming here, think this is our last time at this location. Paid our bill and went across the street for some tacos.

From beginning to end the experience was a very positive one. The app was easy to navigate to place our order with ease. The work association between Applebees and Grub hub is exceptional. Our food arrived nice and hot. The entire order was correct and all condiments along with dinnerware were included.
The delivery person was nice and courteous.
